Meal Plan Options & Information

Franklin Pierce has designed different types of meal plans to fit students varied needs.
Unlimited Plans - Unlimited plans allow a student to enter the dining hall as many times a day as they would like.... An unlimited number! There is never a worry about running out of meals or wasting a meal. This is great for the student that likes to dine several times a meal period with different friends, to run in for many quick small meals, or just to have stress free dining! The unlimited plan comes with 2 guest passes per semester and is available with dining points or without.
Traditional 15 meal plan - The old stand-by - this allows a student to eat any 15 meals in a week (Friday morning to Thursday night). These meals do not carry over or accumulate week to week. This is perfect for the student that is good at budgeting their meals and sticks to a regular schedule. This plan comes with 2 guest passes per semester.
Block Plans - These plans allow students to purchase a block of meals per semester. Each of these plans come with dining points so the student has the flexibility of eating some meals from the Pub as part of their plan. Block plans meals can be used for the student or a guest of the student, as long as the student is with their guest. Students do need to monitor their balance and budget their meals so that they do not run out of meals before the semester ends - but in case they miss there is an emergency block of 25 meals that can be purchased to carry them through!

Point Plans
There are 2 different types of "points" or debit money at Franklin Pierce, Dining Points and Raven Points.
Dining Points are attached to a meal plan and can only be used for food purchases, either in the Cafeteria or at the Raven's Next Pub. Dining Points carry from fall to spring as long as the student remains on a meal plan but do not carry year to year. Dining points carry no "monetary" value and cannot be refunded or cashed out.
Raven Points is a debit account set up with Student Financial Services. Money is deposited into this debit account and can be accessed with the students ID card. Raven points can be used at different locations on campus including dining services and the bookstore. Raven points can carry year to year and will be refunded if a student leaves college.
Special Dietary Needs
Dining services can accommodate almost all special dietary needs. Please call Kim at x4333 when you arrive on campus to discuss your needs.
Guests
Guests are always welcome to dine with you. If you are on an unlimited or 15 meal plan, you will receive 2 guest passes per semester. If you are on a block plan, you are welcome to use one of your meals for your guest, as long as you are with them. You can also use dining points or raven points to purchase meals for your guests.... Of course cash is always accepted as well!
